Pre Race Information
Registration is OPEN on Race Roster to fully vaccinated individuals* until noon on October 7, 2021:
Vertikiller 30K: $75
Vertikiller 20K: $65
Verticuddler 10K: $55
Verticuddler 10K VIRTUAL: $35
Minimum age for both distances is 13 years old (as of Race Day). All racers under 18 require parental/guardian consent; with a waiver to be completed and signed prior to race day or at package pick up.
*As of September 28, 2021, the provincial government requires all participants and volunteers to be fully vaccinated.
There is a cap of 200 racers.

RACE DAY 2021: 7:45am @ Race Day Start Line (Sumas Mountain lower parking lot)
ID and Vaccine Passport/evidence of double vaccination must be shown to pick up your racer package. Bibs cannot be picked up by anyone but the registered runner. No Exceptions.
Deferral Policy and Wait List
For 2021, we are offering a 100% deferral of fees to next year’s race. Those unable to participate due to provincial regulations will automatically be deferred to 2022’s race.
Wait List participants will be notified by mid October of any openings.
Bibs are non-transferable.
In the event of cancellation of the event for reasons including, but not limited to, weather, forest fires, provincial regulations, acts of nature or other circumstances, Fat Dog 120 Inc. management will provide a limited refund and discount towards the same event in the following year.

8:45 am – 30k Pre-Race Briefing
9:00 am – 30k Race Start
9:15 am – 20k Pre-Race Briefing
9:30 am – 20k Race Start
9:45 am – 10k Pre-Race Briefing
10:00 am – 10k Race Start

Sumas Mountain Regional Park

Washrooms are located at the Parking Lot (Start/Finish Line).
There is also one washroom located at the upper parking lot which is around the 12Km point in the route.
Bag Drop available at the Start / Finish Line.
There is limited parking at location please carpool if possible.
Due to parking regulations and permits, all cars will be directed where to park on Bakstad Rd and Taggart Rd before the lower parking lot (start/finish line).
Pre-race Briefing Highlights
- Stay on the designated trails
- Leave no trace
- Take care of each other
- No earphones
- No dogs, for safety reasons
- Racers must sign in so we know they are on the course

First Aid & Food
Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue will be on site along with multiple First Aid attendants.
Two aid stations are located throughout the race. Each station will have water and the Main Aid Station for the 20km and 30km routes will have fuel and food.

This is a cup free event, meaning you’ll need to pack along your own source for fluids at aid stations and at the finish line.
Here are two suggestions: A packable style bottle, or a homemade version in which you simply lop the top off of an empty kids juice box.
